Put Down the Pinot Grigio!!  Great Italian Whites

August 12, 2020 5:00 pm (MDT) / 7:00 pm (EST)

With a rich history of grapes brought by ancient peoples – the Greeks, the Etruscans, the Romans – Italy has more native grape varieties, more types of wine and more distinctive winemaking practices than just about any other place on earth.

There are currently over 17 DOC/DOCG (top quality) white wines produced in Italy, many of which are delightfully balanced, quenchable, and affordable. Great for this Summer’s Zoom Happy Hours!

So, put down that Pinot Grigio and instead, try one of these wonderful Italian white wines!

Purchase the Wine

You will need to prepare for our online, interactive tasting session by obtaining the following moderately priced ($15 – $20/bottle) wines that are a similar mid-range quality.

If you are not able to find these particular wines, you may substitute another wine but it should be from the same growing area and in the same ‘style’ and price range as the ones listed below:

Try Some Food with your Wines!

Just for fun, bring a few different ‘tastes’ to try with your Wines. Seafood of any kind should pair extraordinarily well with all these wines!
